Welcome to Voice of Hope!

Life can feel complicated, overwhelming, and at times isolating. No matter what you’re navigating, you deserve a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and speak openly without fear of judgment. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to better understand your experiences, your relationships, and the patterns that may be shaping your life. My goal is to create a space that feels grounded, genuine, and safe enough for you to show up exactly as you are.

My approach is integrative and relational, informed by trauma-aware, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive practices. I am committed to providing LGBTQ2SIA+ affirming care and to honouring each person’s identity and lived experience. Alongside my clinical training, I also draw from my own lived experiences with life transitions and complex relational dynamics. This allows me to approach our work with both professional knowledge and a deep sense of empathy, while always keeping your unique story at the centre of the process. My experience as a counsellor has gently shaped my ability to offer a grounded, compassionate space for individuals navigating trauma, relationships, and life’s more complex moments.

I have a particular interest in supporting individuals through life transitions, relational and attachment-based challenges, trauma, and concerns related to intimacy and sexual well-being. Together, we can explore what’s coming up for you, build insight, and work toward change that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

I am a psychotherapist in training, currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and sliding scale fees may be available to support accessibility. If you’re considering reaching out, I would welcome the opportunity to connect and see if working together feels like the right fit for you.

Welcome!

“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, be just another human soul” – Carl Jung.

As a counsellor, I believe one of the most important aspects is fostering an open, safe, and compassionate environment through a person-centred, non-judgemental, and strength-based approach. Every individual is the expert of themselves. No one knows you better than you know yourself. Through connection, empathy, humility, and strength, we will explore, learn, and grow together.

As Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University. I have attended the University of Guelph and Lakehead University, where received an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science with a concentration on Human Nature.

My therapeutic approach as a counsellor is eclectic and integrative, pulling from a variety of different modalities, styles, and techniques that prioritizes tailoring the experience to each individual’s unique needs. This flexible approach means I meet you where you are, we work at your pace, on your goals, strengths, and needs.

I love working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and with all kinds of different challenges and stresses. I will learn from you, just as you will learn from me. I am honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

“There are times in life when something needs to change, even if we’re not sure how.”

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it can also be the beginning of something meaningful. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

I work with youth and adults who are navigating things like anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I’m especially interested in how our experiences, relationships, and environments shape how we see ourselves and move through the world.

My approach is flexible and tailored to you. I draw from therapies like CBT, DBT, and ACT, but more importantly, I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship where we can work together in a way that feels right for you.

I care about creating a space that is respectful, inclusive, and grounded in understanding your unique story. I also believe in continuing to learn and reflect, so I can show up in the best way possible for the people I work with.

Outside of therapy, I value slowing down, spending time with people I care about, and being present in everyday moments.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you’re welcome here. We can take things one step at a time.

Hi there, my name is Brandon. Thank you for taking the courageous first step of looking for a therapist. I’ve been there myself, so I know it can be overwhelming trying to figure out where to start.

Therapy is about building a trusting relationship where we work together to create a safe space for you to explore important questions about the things that matter most to you. The heart of my work as a therapist is helping you discover how to apply your unique strengths and experiences to create the life you want. Maybe that’s a life where fear and anxiety don’t rule the day or where your relationships begin to thrive, or maybe you’re not even sure what you want—that’s okay, too!

For nearly thirty years, I have worked in a variety of people-centred roles and am deeply committed to the well-being and growth of the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Based on what I learn about you, I will draw from a variety of counseling approaches to find the path that suits you best.

I am a good listener and I like to ask thought provoking questions. I bring a compassionate approach to counselling but I am also willing to push you into new territory depending on what you need at the moment. Time and again I have witnessed the transformation that is possible when someone begins to see their life in a new light, and I would be honoured to come alongside you for the next leg of your journey.

“Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.” — James Clear

Hello and welcome! With nearly a decade of experience, I help my clients build a life that feels aligned with their goals, values, and the person they want to become.

Change doesn’t usually come from one big breakthrough. It comes from small, consistent steps. My approach to therapy focuses on helping you develop those steps in a way that feels realistic, manageable, and sustainable over time.

I work with individuals navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life stressors. Together, we focus on building structure, strengthening confidence, and creating a clear sense of direction. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure-based therapy, and behavioural activation.

I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also help you take meaningful action in a way that feels grounded and aligned with your values. Outside of my work, I enjoy staying active, playing sports, and continuing to challenge myself through learning and personal growth. I tend to bring a grounded, straightforward, and warm approach into sessions, creating a space that feels both productive and comfortable.

I look forward to working together and supporting you in building a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and your own.

Not sure where to begin? That is more than okay. I see therapy as a space where we can sit with what’s uncertain together, in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and meaningful. At the core of my work is a deep belief in human resilience, especially in people who have had to navigate more than their share. I support individuals, couples and children and adolescents (age 7+) experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and challenges related to emotional regulation and personal growth.

My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), positive psychology, and existential therapy. More importantly, I orient myself to you: your story, your pace, and your lived experience.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a management consultant. I’ve been profoundly touched by witnessing human moments in everyday life, even in places that were designed to be transactional. Those moments shaped my desire to support people in times of crisis and in the times in-between. This often looks like self-reflection, growth and possibility.

Wherever you are in your journey, it is a privilege to meet you there.
